PITT Cooking is a Dutch brand known for its innovative and sleek gas cooktops that integrate directly into kitchen countertops. Rather than the traditional standalone cooktop or range, PITT offers individual burners that are installed directly into the countertop, creating a seamless and minimalist look.

Why are Pitt Cooking products so popular?
PITT Cooking products have become increasingly popular due to several key factors that appeal to both design-conscious homeowners and serious cooks:
Sleek, Minimalist Design: The built-in burner concept allows for a seamless, integrated look where the burners sit directly on the countertop without the bulk of a traditional cooktop. This minimalist aesthetic is highly desirable in modern kitchen designs, helping create a clean, uncluttered space. Put simply Pitt Cooking is a real statement piece and often a point of conversation.
Variety of configuration: PITT Cooking offers a high level of customization. Customers can choose the number and arrangement of burners, spacing them according to their cooking style. This flexibility is a huge draw for those who want a kitchen that reflects their personal preferences or unique design requirements.
High Performance & Power: The burners are known for their powerful output, which makes cooking more efficient. With different heat levels available, PITT burners accommodate everything from slow simmering to high-heat cooking, appealing to home chefs who demand professional-grade functionality.
Ease of cleaning: By eliminating the need for a traditional cooktop, PITT Cooking allows for more counter space when the burners are not in use. With less nooks and crannies cleaning around the appliance is a breeze.
Durability & Quality: Made with premium materials like cast iron and stainless steel, PITT burners are built to last. Their durability, combined with their high-performance capabilities, makes them a long-term investment that customers appreciate.
Premium Appeal: PITT Cooking has a reputation for being a luxury product. Its sleek design, high-quality craftsmanship, and exclusivity make it a desirable choice for those looking to elevate their kitchen’s aesthetic and functionality.

Not sure how to prepare your kitchen for a Pitt Cooking system?
.
Material Compatibility:
PITT Cooking systems are compatible with a wide range of countertop materials, such as granite, marble, quartz, and concrete. However, the material must be heat-resistant and durable to withstand the high temperatures from the burners.
Cut-Out Dimensions:
The countertop must be prepared with precise cut-outs to accommodate the individual burners specific to the model you have selected. PITT provides specific measurements and templates for each burner configuration, so it’s essential to follow their guidelines closely. Cutting of the stone countertop surface must be undertaken off site as part of the manufacturing process.
Cabinetry design:
Careful consideration must be given to the design of the cabinetry. There must be no obstructions directly below the pitt cooker as this will prevent the installer from installing the product from the underside of the stone countertop. It is also crucial that in any section in which the pitt cooker is to be installed that there is not timber substrate installed in this area of the countertop.
Put simply, the pitt product must sandwich directly to the stone surface once it is installed and can not have any material (such as timber) in between the product and the stone surface.
Gas SupplyGas Connection:
PITT Cooking systems run on natural gas or LPG, so a properly sized gas line needs to be installed before the arrival of the Pitt Cooking installer. Please have your plumber install a half inch threaded supply point to the right hand side adjacent cupboard.
Electrical Connection:
A standard 10 amp powerpoint will be required within the cupboard space.
Space Around Burners:
It’s important to ensure that the countertop offers enough clearance around each burner for safety and heat dissipation. The PITT system’s manual will provide exact specifications for safe distances from adjacent cabinets or walls.
Overhead Clearance:
Ensure there is sufficient space above the burners. A minimum clearance 650mm from the trivet of the appliance to the lowest point of the rangehood is legally required.
